Key Supervisor Responsibilities:

The position of Key Supervisor is a fast-paced role that supports the daily operations and staff of the restaurant, including the execution of all Company policies, procedures, programs, and systems. This role contributes to the success of the restaurant by building sales, hitting goals, as well as driving restaurant profitability.

Provides daily working supervision of team members during opening and closing shifts to ensure Company standards are maintained and continually improved

Models professional behavior while creating a warm, friendly, and hospitable atmosphere that encourages team members to perform at their BEST

• Maximizing the financial success of the restaurant through productive and guest focused shifts
• Opens and/or closes the restaurant in accordance with Company policies and procedures
• Provide supervision support during shift not necessarily related to opening or closing the restaurant
• Effectively handles guest's complaints resulting in highly satisfied guests
• All other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent

Prior experience in a leadership role is required.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dish room, kitchen aisle, and dock area.
• Break down trays, set up dish machine, wash dish ware, and sort and store all clean china, glass and silver using proper procedures.
• Empty trashcans and wash inside and outside.
• Thoroughly clean dock area
• Break down dish machine and clean inside and outside.
• Clean all breakdown tables.
• Clean tile on kitchen walls and baseboards.

Educational Requirements

• Valid BLS Certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire

The Sous Chef is responsible for supporting unit management in the production, cooking and service of all hot and cold food required at the unit. This position may be responsible for supervising aspects of the kitchen, staff and production.

Responsibilities:

• Directly prepare food to include soups, sauces, salads, entrees, and catering and all other items determined by the Chef Manager.
• Supervise at least two full-time employees in the preparation and service of food.
• Station set up prior to service with appropriate equipment and food to be determined by the supervisor.
• Assist management in purchasing, inventory control and training.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area via supervisor instruction and applicable health, safety and food handling regulations.
• Provide exemplary customer service in a courteous, helpful and friendly manner at all times.

Essential requirements:

• Comprehension of both verbal and written food recipes, production orders, cooking instructions and techniques in to preparation of daily menus.
• Background in banquet or catering production preferred.
• Follow all outlined health and safety regulations with regard to equipment use and personal hygiene.
• Positive "can-do" attitude
• Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and stow deliveries.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Lifting and moving of food, food containers and other non-food items from floor position to no higher than one's own height.
