Summary
Executes assigned strategic initiatives that advance the organization's shared mission and objectives, in partnership with cross-functional Joint Pediatric Enterprise (JPE) / physician / operational leaders such as: executing and managing workforce planning processes across the JPE (including maintaining division-level / service-line workforce plans in collaboration with strategy and operations) and supporting governance committees established by the JPE across the tripartite mission (including facilitating meeting cadence, material sharing, decision-tracking, report outs, and other needs across JPE committees).Key responsibilities may include managing a small team and/or facilitating cross functional resources to complete key functions, structuring analysis to refine and or communicate changes to workforce plans and managing other operational deliverables.
Responsibilities

  • Partners with CHST and UTSW executives to support executing assigned strategic and operational initiatives that advance the organization’s shared mission and objectives.
  • Refines high-level strategic plans into individual executable initiatives with defined investments and timeframes.
  • Leads and manages workforce planning process, including updating and maintaining division-level workforce plans and supporting analytics in collaboration with strategy and operations.
  • Collaborates with Departments and operations to understand staffing models, recruitment plans, etc. and translate into the Master Services Agreement financial model.
  • Collaborates with finance and operations on business case development in support of assigned strategic initiatives and/or workforce plans, as well as to evolve the Master Services Agreement as necessary.
  • Manages governance committee infrastructure to facilitate meeting cadence, material sharing, decision-tracking, report outs, and other needs to support all of the JPE committees.
  • Collaborates with committee co-chairs to track initiatives and advance initiatives against targets. Ensures appropriate stakeholder engagement within committees as necessary.
Work Experience
How You’ll Be Successful:
  • At least 5 years Management or consulting experience as a strategy, operations or financial manager with proven record of success in a health care provider setting required.
  • Proficiency in provider operations, financial analysis, issue identification, and implications development required.
EDUCATION
  • Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience preferred.

We’re looking for a Product Manager, Finance Systems to join our Enterprise Applications and Architecture team. The mission of our team is to drive automation through an integrated suite of enterprise systems and technologies, streamlining business operations and freeing up our finance team’s time to focus on high-judgment tasks. In this role, you will serve as our finance business process and financial systems subject matter expert primarily supporting our ERP, Netsuite and other financial technologies. You will partner with our finance/accounting team members to identify business requirements for technical solutions that can scale and support the growth of the company. You will also collaborate with product managers and business system analysts to design optimal technology solutions to address finance business process optimization. You will partner with a small, agile and a tight-knit engineering team that is focused on delivering value. What you’ll be doing (job duties)

  • Partner with Finance/Accounting business stakeholders to determine optimal technology solutions to scale finance business processes
  • Analyze current business processes, perform fit/gap analysis and translate the business requirements into technical solutions
  • Partner with Product Managers and finance stakeholders to implement the product roadmap for NetSuite, Zip, Workiva and other financial applications
  • Demonstrate knowledge of NetSuite capabilities for key processes: General Ledger Accounting, Financial Reporting, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash
  • Create product management artifacts - Functional Specifications, Data Flow Diagrams and Business Process Mapping Diagrams

What we look for in you (requirements)

  • Strong knowledge of finance related business processes such as Order Management, Billing, Collections, Revenue Management, Procurement, Expenses, Payables, General Accounting, and Financial Reporting
  • Deep understanding of Record to Report Finance Business processes, including month end accounting processes and financial statements/reporting features in NetSuite
  • 5+ years of system administration experience of ERPs like NetSuite, Oracle Cloud, and other finance applications like Workiva, Zip, Floqast

Responsibilities

Under general direction of the Policy & Operations Support Section Chief in the Deputy Director's Office, the Supervisor I directs and reviews the work of a small highly‑skilled policy staff. Responsibilities include:

  • Research, analyze, and prepare written and fiscal analyses of proposed policies affecting the financing of providers and health plans under the Medi‑Cal program, including state and federal legislation, regulations, plan amendments, budget changes, estimate changes, waiver requests, preprints, and other guidance.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and support ongoing implementation of high‑profile policy initiatives by the HCF operating divisions.
  • Support the assignment, tracking, and review of policy and fiscal analysis deliverables across all HCF operating divisions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of assigned policy area, including fiscal, programmatic, and legal‑regulatory considerations.
  • Demonstrate strong writing, quantitative, organizational, and communication skills.
