The Operations Manager plans and manages liquid products production operations to meet GSF objectives for quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Plan and coordinate liquid product operations for a specific product (e.g., ketchup, sauce, etc.) to ensure that department and GSF objectives for productivity and quality are met or exceeded. 

Manages assigned staff, including recruiting and selecting employees, assigning work, providing training and development, evaluating performance, and building a motivated, effective team to ensure that organizational goals for diversity, career development, productivity, performance management and employee involvement are met. 

Coordinate communication with staff, maintenance, and other departments to ensure effective operations and to meet the production requirements of internal and external customers.

Monitor and evaluate statistical data, operation procedures, and other information to maximize operational efficiencies and to ensure compliance with customer, GSF, and regulatory agency policies and regulations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 
Education/Certification:

ABOUT THE JOB

JOB SUMMARY: This position contributes to the company’s success by ensuring efficient cash management on a daily basis and managing and administrating the company’s banking platforms and will support all aspects of treasury operations activities. Reporting directly to the Corporate Treasurer of global headquarters, this is a visible and essential role within the organization.
Responsible for performing various cash, disbursement, and cash accounting activities within the treasury function. 
This role is a key contributor to the company’s liquidity and cash operations. You will own daily cash positioning, lead the 13 week cash flow forecast, manage bank platforms and controls, deliver timely reporting to leadership, and continuously improve treasury processes and automation. You’ll partner closely with Accounting, AP/AR, FP&A, Tax, and business unit finance to ensure sufficient funding, minimize risk, and support strategic cash decisions.
This individual may be required to provide input for or participate in various projects and will perform other duties as requested, which will include accounting functions for the Golden State Foods Foundation and maintaining the Company’s Unclaimed Property and Escheatment program.
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 
 
  • Treasury Operations, Banking Platforms Administration: Administer banking portals and treasury workflows (user entitlements, tokens, templates, entitlements reviews), including fraud mitigation tools (e.g., positive pay, ACH filters/blocks, wire verification) and support cash management activities for all GSF entities.  Initiate, review, and release domestic and international payments (ACH/wires), enforce dual control and cutoff discipline, and monitor exception items and fraud alerts.  Maintain bank documentation, account openings/closings, authorized signers, and service requests, coordinate fee reviews and service optimization. (25%)

 
  • Participate in period-end closing processes, including preparing account reconciliations, managing disbursements and incoming donations, lead annual audit, and perform financial analysis and related journal entries for the Golden State Foods Foundation.  (25%)

 
  • Participate in daily cash positioning and short‑term liquidity management across operating and disbursement accounts to ensure sufficient funding for obligations and optimize use of idle cash, including contributions to the 13‑week cash flow forecast: gather inputs, model receipts/disbursements, analyze variances, and recommend actions to close gaps or capitalize on surpluses. Partner with FP&A and business units to align forecast with operational drivers, seasonality, and working capital initiatives. (20%)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and experience equivalent to:
 
Education/Certification:  
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required).
CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) or active pursuit (strongly preferred).
 
Experience:
4–7 years in Treasury operations/cash management with hands‑on experience in cash positioning, short‑term forecasting, ACH/wire processing, bank portals, and reconciliations (corporate or banking environment).
 
Public accounting or audit exposure is a plus; experience supporting audits and responding to inquiries preferred.
 
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND CORE COMPETENCIES 
 
Technical Skills 
  • Advanced Excel (index/match or XLOOKUP, pivot tables, scenario modeling); familiarity with Power BI and Power Automate (or similar) preferred.
  • Proficiency with major banking portals and controls (positive pay, ACH filters/blocks; user entitlements). Experience with a Treasury Management System (TMS) is a plus.
  • Understanding of NACHA rules, payment formats, and cutoffs; knowledge of internal control frameworks.

COMPENSATION    


Pay Range: $108,023.55 - $135,029.43

Base pay for this role will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity, in accordance with company guidelines

Manage and coordinate all activities related to Facilities Environmental, Health, Safety and Training programs to ensure the facilities and company's objectives are met or exceeded.
 
WHAT YOU'LL DO 
  •  Identify and interpret regulatory standards that impact operational exposures and business activities and guide needed plans to ensure compliance.
  • Develop, implement and monitor comprehensive safety processes, training programs and management practices to eliminate all accidents in the workplace and meet all applicable safety rules and company policy. Responsibilities to include: OSHA, ergonomics, machine guarding, hazard communication, powered industrial vehicles, electrical safety, fire protection & emergency preparedness
  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive environmental processes and management practices to meet all applicable environmental rules and company policy requirements. Responsibilities to include but not limited to: waste water discharge, solid waste disposal, hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal, air emissions, spill prevention control and countermeasures, storm water national pollutant discharge elimination system, and ozone depleting substances.

  • Identifies and evaluates hazardous conditions and practices, developing practices and programs to correct or reduce their occurrence.
  • Provides assistance to plant personnel to improve safety and health of all employees.
  • Plans, implements and monitors the day-to-day operations for the Facility’s training schedule, including analyzing operating data and reports, monitoring adherence to standards to ensure business plan objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Communicates with Division management and employees and provides relevant reports and analyses to ensure appropriate decision-making as it applies to safety and training. Completes special project assignments as needed.
  • Ensures preparation and delivery of all relevant training and materials are compliant with all customer, governmental and Company directives and policies.
  • Creates Job Specific Training Modules
  • Investigates and reports on serious injuries to line or staff employees.
  • Reviews and analyzes company accidents and historical claim experience to identify frequency or severity problems and loss trends. Conduct improvement projects based on findings to improve overall employee health and safety.
  • Investigates and responds to employee safety concerns, unemployment claims, and workers compensation claims to provide high quality internal customer service.
  • Periodically audits operational procedures and programs related to all aspects of the facility as training is developed and updated.
  • Train and coach managers and supervisors on behavior based strategies, accident investigation, hazard identification, self-inspection and employee training.
  • Manages assigned trainees, including training, development and validation of performance.
  • Attends and coordinates department safety meetings.
  • Establish a measuring device for safety performance throughout the facility by motivating individual accountability and reinforcing safety as a critical part of the corporate culture.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED  
 
 Education & Experience  

  • BS degree in Engineering, Life Science, Safety, or Risk Management from an accredited college or University.

  • Certification as a Certified Safety Professional and OSHA 30 Hour is a plus.

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience in manufacturing safety and human resources.
