Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Operate and monitor potable water and wastewater treatment systems to ensure safe, continuous, and compliant utility services

Technical Responsibilities:
  • Perform and document functional testing and commissioning procedures for mechanical, electrical, and/or control systems.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and submittals to develop commissioning plans and checklists.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of commissioning milestones.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical recommendations during pre‑functional and functional testing.
  • Prepare commissioning reports and maintain accurate documentation of test results and deficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and client requirements.
  • Participate in startup activities, system turnover, and closeout documentation.
  • Conduct or assist with site inspections and punch‑list resolution.
Position Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in commissioning, construction, or building systems operations
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and/or control systems
  • Familiarity with commissioning software tools (e.g., CxAlloy, Bluebeam)
  • Hands on approach to problem solving
  • HVACR degree or engineering degree (preferred)
