Become the Human Resources Director you've always aspired to be
  • Plan, organize, and oversee all facets of the Human Resources department to ensure equitable treatment of all employees, in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Assume responsibility for fostering an inclusive and productive work environment and culture.
  • Implement employee programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Serve as a valuable resource to department managers and other employees, acting as the liaison between Home Office HR and hospital management.
  • Coordinate staff education programs, oversee workers' compensation program, and assist with benefits administration.
  • Direct hospital recruitment and retention program to ensure availability of appropriate staffing resources. Serve as a resource to department managers and other employees.
  • Celebrate the achievements and victories of our dedicated employees along the way.
Qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree in Personnel Administration, Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Work experience may substitute for a four-year degree on a year-for-year basis.
A minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources Management experience, preferably in healthcare.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or SPHR certification is preferred.

Be the Chief Nursing Officer you've always aspired to be

  • Collaborate with all medical, clinical, and therapeutic disciplines to foster a patient-focused, team-oriented culture that delivers superior service and outstanding outcomes.
  • Develop patient care programs, policies, and procedures that outline how patients' needs for nursing care, treatment, and services are assessed, evaluated, and met.
  • Act as a representative for nursing on various committees, including the Governing Body, Quality Council, Med Exec, Infection Control, Education, and Ethics Committees, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Possess a current RN licensure as required by state regulations.
  • Hold BLS certification (ACLS preferred).

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field, unless a higher degree is mandated by state regulations.
  • Advanced Degree, plan to receive an advanced degree, or knowledge and skills associated with an advanced degree required unless otherwise specified by state regulation.
  • Five years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
  • Two years of recent (within the last 5 years) Nursing Management experience, with responsibilities including 24-hour accountability, FTE management, policy, procedure, and budgetary oversight, as well as conducting disciplinary action.
  • May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts.

Internal Auditor 1, SG-18

The Internal Auditor 1, SG-18 will be assigned to the Office of Audit Services and Compliance (OASC) and will report to the Auditor 2, SG-23. The Internal Auditor 1 will be responsible to conduct internal audits of DCJS program areas and fiscal audits of grant contracts. Duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Conduct internal audits of DCJS program areas and functions.
  • Prepare audit plans for the grant audits and internal audits identifying the audit scope, objectives, high risk areas, and specific audit steps to be taken during fieldwork.
  • Perform fiscal audits of grant funded criminal justice programs to verify that state and federal funds were used consistent with the terms of the DCJS grant contract and applicable federal guidelines covering the use of funds.
  • Perform research on entities selected for audit (i.e., Local Government Agencies, Non-Profit Organizations, and law enforcement agencies) to determine their purpose, type of funds involved, and applicable laws, rules and regulations governing the program's operations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all state and federal laws and regulations regarding the operation of the grantee under audit.
  • Participate in opening conferences with grantees or head of the DCJS program area to explain the audit purpose, scope, process, methodology, and reporting process and conduct audits by performing various test, reviews, reconciliations, and evaluation of accounts, claims, records, and procedures to ensure that reimbursed costs are supported by source documents.
  • Prepare written audit reports detailing audit findings and recommendations as well as identifying any amounts for recovery, where applicable and will document all audit work in Teammate Audit Management Software.
  • Discuss audit findings with grantees or head of DCJS program area under audit and participates in exit conferences. When acting as lead auditor in an audit project, the Auditor 1 will co-ordinate work of other Internal Auditors 1, Auditors 1, and Student Interns working on the project, as required.
  • Follow generally accepted accounting and auditing principles and standards when conducting audits.
  • Approximately 15% travel is required.

We are seeking a Combo Welder for a maintenance position in Plaquemine, LA. The Welder position lays out, fits, and welds fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble structural forms, such as tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, pipe and building and bridge parts. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.


Essential Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in specified skill
  • Must be able to pass a weld test before being hired
  • Must be certified as a welder
  • Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
  • Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Functional Requirements:

Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly and welding; lays out, positions, aligns and fits components together; bolts, clamps, tack welds parts to secure in position for welding; sets up equipment and welds parts; may assemble parts by bolting and riveting; may weld pipe such as carbon steel, stainless steel, chrome, etc. by process of arc, heliarc, gas, mig, tig, etc.; may weld pipe, sheet metal, structural steel, brackets or other materials; may repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts; may use cutting torch to cut materials and demo existing assemblies.


Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
