Qualifications

Overview


We are seeking a dedicated Gastrointestinal (GI) Oncologist to join The Hawai‘i Pacific Health oncology team on the island of O‘ahu in Honolulu . This is a unique opportunity to provide compassionate cancer care in one of the most beautiful locations in the world.


What You’ll Do



  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient oncology care (13-16 patients/day)


  • Serve colorectal, pancreatic, liver, and other GI cancer patients from across Hawai‘i


  • Collaborate with subspecialists in gastroenterology, general surgery, surgical oncology, palliative care, and researchers from the University of Hawai‘i Cancer Center


  • Mentor and teach advanced practice providers (APPs)


  • Participate in monthly GI or general cancer conferences

With 118 beds and more than 500 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O\'ahu. The medical center has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O‘ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, and one of the largest comprehensive centers for cancer care. Pali Momi also has a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, CT scan and MRI services, a women’s center and the state’s first retina center.
