JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for delivery and pickup of containers to and/or from customer locations; provide an effective and incident free delivery or pickup of a container while maintaining excellent rapport with the customer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites in a safe manner by following all safety rules
  • Perform and log daily pre and post trip inspections of commercial vehicle and lift
  • Accept add-on deliveries as required to meet business needs
  • Use company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation
  • Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane
  • Clean and inspect containers to ensure they are presentable for delivery to customer
  • Coordinate rental paperwork and payment with the customer
  • Communicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager on customer questions and/or issues; Prepare driver notes as needed
  • Perform repairs of containers and lifts in the field and at the storage center
  • Provide backup for storage center functions when needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of truck cab (keep free from debris inside and outside)
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the building and grounds are clean, properly maintained, and free of clutter by picking up trash/debris and by cleaning siding and walkways

  • Conduct maintenance room punch including but not limited to drywall repairs, paint, general repairs, shampoo carpets

  • Notify Supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations

  • Perform functions as outlined in Property Attendant Job Description, Guest Agreement, and Property Maintenance Technician Resident and On-Call Agreement.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor


Skills/Experience

  • Ability to read, speak, write and understand the English language in order to interact with guests and staff.
  • Ability to compose and express thoughts in a clear and understandable way to ensure effective communications.
  • Ability to organize oneself and the ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities often in stressful situations.
  • Possess working knowledge of air conditioning systems and equipment, including installation, maintenance and repair.
  • Possess knowledge and ability to perform a variety of general maintenance repairs, this includes being able to troubleshoot equipment, identify needs/parts, and the ability to visually read manufacturer instructions
  • Possess working knowledge of electrical systems and components, electrical supplies and materials and the proper application of the same, which includes selecting proper wire and fuse sizes, and visually discern various colors of electrical wiring
  • Possess skill and ability to operate hand and power tools (drills, volt-OHM meter, amprobe, etc.); dial indicators and testing equipment for air, water balancing and control calibration.


Mental and Physical Demands

  • Work on uneven surfaces in hot, cold and wet conditions, climb and stand on ladders at heights of up to approximately 30 feet
  • Work indoors with carpeted surfaces and work outdoors with concrete surfaces, as well as exposure to extreme weather conditions [cold and heat]
  • Ability to work long hours on a regular basis (which may include weekends), as business conditions demand
  • Frequent walking, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching and/or crawling throughout the day, and reaching with arms that are overstretched or overhead.
  • Lifting and carrying over 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.

  • Interact with clients and investors both during the origination and execution of M&A & PFA deals
  • Lead the preparation of pitching materials and transaction documentation (including teaser, information memorandum, debt market sounding materials, management presentation, process letter and internal presentations, among others)
  • Supervise and take full responsibility of financial valuations, Fairness Opinions exercises and capital structure analyses
  • Lead market sounding in PFA deals, and execute selected debt alternatives
  • Coordinate and supervise all teams involved in the project
  • Provide the client with initial strategic advice, negotiations and tactics in coordination with MD in the deal
  • Support in negotiating deal documentation (SPA, SHA, debt facility contracts, among others)
  • Collaborate with other CIB teams to promote cross-selling of products and ensure smooth deal execution
  • Actively participate in the training of associates and analysts


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law or Engineering. MBA qualifications will be valued, but not a must to have
  • A minimum of 5 – 8 years of M&A experience in an investment bank or boutique. PFA experience desirable but not compulsory
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to adapt and to provide out-of-the box solutions as well as sound advice to achieve deal success
  • English: minimum C1 (equivalent) or above
  • Fluent in Spanish

With respect to this position in our Houston Office, the expected base salary ranges from $160,000 to $190,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
