The Position

Our bank client is seeking to fill an SVP Mortgage Lending role in the Houston, TX market. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire mortgage lending team, with direct reports managing daily operations. The ideal candidate for this role will focus on expanding our lending footprint outside the Houston region. This mortgage professional should have experience in statewide originations with established connections in the major metro markets, Houston, Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio. The SVP of Real Estate will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing mortgage loan officers, while aiding them in the pursuit of market share. This position offers a generous salary of up to $170K and full benefits package. (This is not a remote position)

SVP Mortgage Lending responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the leadership team to determine and implement the corporate culture, strategic plans, tactics, budgets, and priorities of the organization.
  • Providing strategic and executive leadership for all lending operations.
  • Overseeing the management of the lending operating department, including origination, processing, underwriting, servicing, and closing.
  • Leading efforts to transform and improve the performance efficiency of the business units through innovative solutions, ultimately reducing the cost of origination.
  • Developing and executing strategies to help the organization to become a great mortgage lender, including improving service levels, increasing revenue and productivity, and solution development.
  • Developing and executing plans for process improvement efforts, developing and managing budgets and tactics, and managing forecasting sand taffing needs to support steady growth and loan volume.
  • Establishing, monitoring, and reporting on operating activity and key metrics to ensure processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with quality standards, laws and regulations, and investor guidelines.
  • Providing expert guidance and coaching to the team for advancement.

Your contribution:

  • You are responsible for theimplementation of commissioned acquisition projects for site acquisition , contract portfolio management, property management and marketing.

You independently set up and adhere to project schedules as well asplan resources efficiently regarding order management, acceptance, invoice verification and release as well as escalation, approvals, and control mechanisms.

  • You are responsibleforrental and usage contracts for the construction and operation of telecommunications equipment, in particular radio stations.
  • Ensure legal validity and conformity with the approval guidelines as part of an examination of thepreliminary decision-making processes in accordance with standard specifications on quality and cost-effectiveness.

Within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution sub service line, our Software Strategy Group (SSG) team members conduct primary and secondary research, synthesize and analyze data, build and test hypotheses, and deliver strategic advice to our clients to help them make informed decisions. Your key responsibilities

As a Director with EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Software Strategy Group, you will be responsible for leading work streams and engagements, translating client needs into project tasks and deliverables. Directors manage day-to-day problem-solving and team analytical activities, and serve as key liaisons between consulting team members, Senior Directors and Partners, and our clients.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Develop business strategies using tools such market sizing, market participant interviews, decision maker survey panels and discussions with target company management teams.
