Food Service Department Operations I support food service department operations including department readiness, staffing, supervision, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory preparation, department financial goals and objectives, department cleanliness, and safe use of equipment and tools.

Replenishment & Inventory Procedures I support replenishment and inventory processes including ordering, replenishment, receiving, invoicing and accounting, back stock, reclamation and returns, damages and reworks, supply use and inventory preparation.

Equipment and Tools I adhere to all proper equipment procedures, including cleaning and maintenance requirements.

Food Production and Processing I follow all company and food safety production guidelines for fresh food preparation, production and processing. I ensure all product produced for consumption is properly packaged/wrapped, weighed and/or priced, and labeled according to company and regulatory requirements.

Department Cleaning Standards I adhere to food service department cleaning standards, following company and food safety guidelines and using only approved equipment and cleaning chemicals for cleaning procedures within the department, including the production area and applicable service cases.

Problem Solving I clearly define issues upfront and then use critical thinking skills and logic to effectively obtain answers to questions through a conscious and organized manner.

Safety/Quality Orientation I consistently produce and emphasize the need to produce high quality products and services while being aware of the issues and following procedures that affect personal safety and the safety of others.

Family: Private Label Sourcing Management Role entails providing support for Cardinal Health's Private Brand portfolio which includes commercial products under the Major Pharmaceuticals brand, in the prescription ("Rx") generic drugs category. Responsibilities are subject to the direction of the Manager of Private Brands Sourcing and may be adjusted to meet new demands of the business, but generally include:

  • Serving as a liaison with the Red Oak Sourcing (a.k.a. "R.O.S.", a joint sourcing partnership with CVS) team on behalf of Cardinal Health including gathering and disseminating information necessary for sourcing of designated products and related issues associated with such sourcing activities for all Major brand Rx products.

  • Support of any Major Rx sourcing activities not under the purview of R.O.S.
  • Supplier Management - Support other business functions including but not limited to Quality & Regulatory Assurance, Inventory Management, Operations, and Accounts Payable in managing suppliers.

Travel

Ability to travel up to 5%. Advisor will need to occasionally meet face to face with stakeholders at Cardinal Health's corporate offices in Dublin, OH, even on days scheduled for remote work, and strategic sourcing partners at R.O.S. in Boston, MA. For cost containment purposes, technology such as video conferences, instant messaging, and email will be the preferred method of meeting and sharing information. As well, trade shows and supplier site meetings may require additional travel from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

About the Program: The NCFTA offers talented students an innovative work experience in a growing sector that will help them enhance their professional development and academic goals. Our program offers paid internships for undergraduate and graduate degree students. It is an intensive 12-week program that gives rising college seniors or graduate level students the opportunity to work in areas such as intellectual property fraud, financial fraud, and malware and cyber threats in order to build knowledge and skills in the intelligence analysis field. The student will receive training and be part of the team from day one. They will be assigned to a manager and mentor to enable them to quickly learn and acclimate. During their first few weeks on the team, they will participate in the internship orientation to become familiar with the NCFTAs various resources, policies and procedures.

Role of the Intern: Selected candidates will work on various organizational program initiatives. Duties will focus on conducting research and data collection using various tools and applications as well as proactive research in open sources to produce a finished product for dissemination. The intern will engage in collaboration with NCFTA partners and peers and be expected to participate in program meetings.

Internships with our Malware & Cyber Threats Program are more technical in nature and, as such, applicants with a technical interest and background are desired. These duties may include writing scripts to automate processes (e.g. Python scripts), reviewing and analyzing malicious code (e.g. C, C++, VB.NET, Assembly, Java), and creating databases (MySQL, MS SQL Server, Postgres). Also, technical threat actor hunting and identity attribution to cybercriminals on the dark web and clear net sites. Students with working knowledge of Mac OS may have an opportunity to work on special projects.

Required Qualifications

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and be eligible for a U.S. Government security clearance

Major studies in areas of consideration: International Affairs/Politics/Relations; Intelligence/Security Studies; Computer Science; Information Security; Business Intelligence or related fields. Other majors are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Minimum GPA of 3.0

Excellent writing skills and strong analytical thinking

Proficiency in Microsoft Office required

Arabic, Turkish, Russian, Chinese and Eastern European language skills desirable but not required

Extensive experience with computers and networking highly preferred but not required
