Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
  • Basic tools, required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including:
  • Routine preventative maintenance, which should include oil changes, brake and tire work, required
  • Two (2) years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience in required experience, preferred
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A,preferred
  • This position requires for you to drive Ryder vehicles. In order to become a Ryder employee you must:
  • Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties
  • Performs standard vehicle maintenance
  • Performs standard component inspections and repairs
  • Performs preventive maintenance
  • Diagnoses standard mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable
  • Identifies root cause of basic failures/conditions and perform repairs as required
  • Replaces defective components as instructed
  • Performs facility maintenance duties
  • Interacts with customers/drivers to properly determine nature of complaint once assigned a task
  • Utilizes key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation available
  • Works in accordance with all federal/ provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, MOT)
  • Performs other support duties as required to support operations. These could include but are not limited to Service Island support

Job Summary
The Medication Assistant (MA) serves as caregiver who provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a charge nurse. Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per plan of care. Provides assistance with basic health care needs including daily living activities that may include, but are not limited to, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psycho-social support and other personal care to assigned resident. May assist the resident in transferring, re-positioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment and provides range of motion and passive exercises. Completes tasks related to food preparation and dining, while creating a positive dining experience for the resident. May assist residents with meals and snacks; provide water and supplements as appropriate.
Administers prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse and within their scope of practice as defined by state regulations. Documents the outcomes related to resident care, medication administration, behavior, activity, and dietary. Communicates changing condition, medication follow-up and care related concerns/responses to the charge nurse. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Provides housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational. Provides assistance and documentation with wellness and recreational programs and encourages residents to participate. May participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
Qualifications
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
Minimum age of 18 preferred. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year. A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually based on state requirements. Maintains all department specific required certifications. When applicable, may need a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
Iowa: Require Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing. CNA certification must be maintained with the State Board of Nursing. Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course once CNA certification is obtained.
Minnesota: Must have nursing assistant certification, have completed the 75-hour course and be registered with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry. Successful completion of a state-approved Trained Medication Assistant course.
North Dakota: Require Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing. CNA certification must be maintained with the State Board of Nursing. Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course once CNA certification is obtained. If working in an Assisted Living or Basic Care facility, Medication Assistant I certification required. If working in a skilled nursing facility, Medication Assistant II certification is required.
South Dakota: Must successfully complete the state approved Certified Medication Aide (CMA) course. CMA certification must be maintained with the State Board of Nursing.
For all Good Samaritan and Sanford nursing facilities: Must have the state required certified/trained medication aide certification (CMA or TMA). Active certified nursing assistant registration in state of practice, or ability to obtain within 120 days, is required.

OVERVIEW

An experienced Enterprise Architect with specialization in cloud, data centers, cross IT disciplines, and artificial intelligence (AI). The Enterprise Architect, plays a crucial role in shaping our future technology landscape and driving our digital transformation initiatives. With expertise in cloud computing, data center infrastructure, AI technologies, and enterprise wide presence the position is instrumental in making strategic decisions and ensuring optimal utilization of resources. In addition, this position is actively involved in all IT disciplines, including databases, development and monitoring tools, hardware and software, networks, and security in as much as the cause and effects across the IT landscape.

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as advisor to functional, technical and tower leaders on business, information and infrastructure and cloud platform technology strategies
  • Partner with IT leaders and other architects to align on roadmaps to enable strategic capabilities for cloud and digital platform
  • Understand technology product and vendor strategies, products and roadmaps
  • Hold decision rights on cloud and platform roadmaps for technology areas working with stakeholders
  • Define future state architecture vision and develop target architecture roadmaps
  • Ensure technology investments are fully aligned to deliver maximum value
  • Ensure adherence to architecture references, Architecture principles and standards for efficient deployments and operations during project definition and implementation
  • Develop the cloud, platform, HA, SW, Desktop current & future state Architecture
  • Lead innovation initiatives that are strategic to the organization.
  • Evaluate and employ emerging technologies & industry trends to provide a competitive edge
  • Provide architectural review in the demand management process
  • Ensure project conformance and compliance with architecture definition and guidelines, and be an advisory member on blueprint sessions.
  • Identify and Mitigate Architectural Risks that would negatively impact our business/IT strategy, and IT Landscape.
  • Update and maintain the key Architecture deliverables
  • Actively engaged in Architecture and User Group communities

WORK EXPERIENCES

  • 10+ years of experience in relevant IT functions
  • Develop and maintain the organization's enterprise architecture
  • Develop and articulate the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap for our organization, leveraging the rest of IT disciplines.
  • Drive IT functions to innovate through resource utilization of technologies such as databases, development tools, hardware and software, networks, security, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience with DBMS's, Operating Systems, Data structures, Networks, Security, IT Business Resumption, Server and storage management, data center monitoring and optimization
  • Work with IT functions and Solutions owners to understand needs and future directions influencing company technology ecosystem.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends

Make informed recommendations on adopting new technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, with a focus on cloud, data centers, and AI across all IT disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing technologies, data center infrastructure, AI frameworks, databases structures and modeling, development tools, hardware and software, networks, and security.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (advanced degree or certifications preferred).

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in forecasting and optimization to join our team. As the Technical Lead for an optimization platform, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, technology and tools evaluation, predictive modeling and machine learning. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement advanced optimization algorithms and forecasting models to enhance our products and services.

This is a Remote position with a preference for candidates able to travel to our Maryland office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for forecasting and optimizing distributed energy resource loads to increase market participation revenues.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create predictive models and algorithms.
  • Implement and optimize algorithms for real-time data processing and analysis.
  • Work with product and business teams including key stakeholders to understand customer/business problems, build tests to validate hypothesis and translate learnings into technical solutions.
  • Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 12+ years proven experience in software development and architecture with 3+ years in technical leadership role.
  • 5+ years of experience with a focus on complex optimization and forecasting models and experience across the full machine learning lifecycle on Microsoft Azure, from data preparation and model training in Azure Machine Learning and Azure Databricks, to deployment and monitoring using Azure DevOps including CI/CD pipelines, Git Repos, Artifacts Repository (NPM, Nuget, etc.).
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and implement robust and scalable cloud-native applications with microservices architecture using C# and .NET Core, including SQL Server database design, development, and optimization, along with extensive experience building and integrating RESTful web services.
  • Strong skills as a team leader, with a passion for developing people and teams, including demonstrated experience leading long-term software teams and mentoring junior engineers on object-oriented coding and best practices.
  • Knowledge of optimization techniques and algorithms (e.g., linear programming, integer programming, heuristic methods, familiarity with statistical modeling and time series analysis).
  • Expertise in designing and implementing robust automated testing frameworks and scripts to validate cloud-native applications deployed on Microsoft Azure. This includes expertise in testing at all levels: unit, integration, and performance, with a focus on Azure services and infrastructure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Working experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Kanban teams.
